Our Mission

In 2020, COVID-19 became more prevalent in the United States. Consequently, the education system was moved to virtual learning. When children begin to develop their early literacy skills, it is vital to be able to interact in person. Throughout the United States, children are developmentally delayed in relation to early literacy skills. At PGH Early Literacy Outreach, we are dedicated to promoting early literacy through partnerships with schools and libraries in order to bridge the gap caused by COVID-19.
